Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Coinks® website. If you do not understand any point please ask for further information. These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with all instructions and guidelines for registration into the Programme as set out on this Coinks® website www.coinks.com which form part of these terms and conditions. Participation in the Programme is provided at the sole discretion of the Promoter.

Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Points - a unit of loyalty currency providing the Member with collector points which can be redeemed for Rewards in the Programme.

Coinks® Code - A code that can be used to earn Points.

Member/you - consumers of products who collect points for redemption against Rewards, and who join the Programme.

Programme - a marketing tool incorporating Coinks® in which Rewards are offered to Members via the Promoter.

Promoter/we/us - Hive Online Limited trading as Hive.

Promotional Packs - packaging which allow you to collect Points, by entering the Coinks® Code printed on or inside the packaging.

Points Distributor - brand owners which distribute Coinks® Codes or Points via Promotional Packs or other means.

Rewards - promotions or offers which are available to Members of the Programme as detailed in term 4 below.

Reward Provider - the supplier of the Reward.

  1. This promotion is open to residents of Great Britain, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland only excluding employees of the Reward Providers and their families. Employees of the Promoter are excluded from entry into a competition on this Coinks website.
  2. Participants must be 16 years or over.
  3. Purchases required - to participate, simply register as a Member on a Coinks® run website and enter the Coinks Code found on Promotional Packs and start collecting Points. Please cut out and keep your Coinks Codes as these may be requested by Coinks® Support.
  4. Points collected by you can be redeemed as follows:
    • Redemption against a promotion or offer. Once you have collected sufficient Points to redeem against a promotion or offer, follow the instructions to redeem your Reward. Rewards can be claimed using the Points collected via the Promotional Packs. Some Rewards may require you to collect Points from specific Promotional Packs. Each Reward displays the amount and type of Points that are required in order to claim the Reward. A Reward may have specific terms and conditions in which case they will be displayed along with the Reward details. Please read these terms and conditions before claiming the Reward.
    • Entry into a competition with the opportunity to win a prize. Once you have collected sufficient Points for entry into a competition offered by a Reward Provider go to the link on this website and follow the instructions for entry into the competition. Unfortunately, residents of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are excluded from entry into a competition on this Coinks® website.
  5. Please note that while we want to encourage you to collect Points to enjoy the benefits of the Programme we actively discourage over-consumption. Please do not purchase more product than you can reasonably use just to take up a Reward or to try and win a competition. Excessive or unusual patterns of Point collection will also trigger some of our security checks, and you may be required to send us the physical Coinks Codes and till receipts in order to claim your Reward or prize.
  6. You can only have one membership and one account in the Programme which is accessible only by your nominated username and password. Members with multiple accounts will be immediately removed from the Programme. If you use the website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account.
  7. Please ensure that the details you provide us with are correct and complete and inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering. You can access and update the information you provided us with in the "Account" area of the website.
  8. In the event that your account is dormant or inactive for a period of 12 months or more we may remove your account from the Programme. We will try to contact you through your nominated email address to notify you that your account is at risk of removal. Members who reply within 30 days requesting the account remain active will have their Coinks® account balances maintained. In the absence of a satisfactory response, the accrued balances may be forfeited, and your account may be removed.
  9. You are only entitled to earn Points as set out under these terms and conditions and through authorised communications from us, from time to time, detailing additional ways in which you may earn Points. The Points Distributor may have additional terms and conditions applicable to a promotion, as set out in the Point Distributor’s promotional materials and webpage. The means of earning Points and amounts are subject to reasonable change from time to time. A Member's account which does not correctly follow any required instruction or procedure may result in no Points being earned and we may, at our sole discretion, refuse to process a claim and/or terminate your membership to the Programme.
  10. We may fulfil the Reward for you, or it may be fulfilled directly by the relevant Reward Provider, in which case you may be directed onto the relevant Reward Provider’s site. Any additional terms and conditions applicable to a promotion by a Reward Provider will make this clear. Please read the terms and conditions of the relevant Reward Provider carefully before you redeem your Reward, so you are clear who is fulfilling the Reward. If we are fulfilling the Reward for you and we are unable to do so, for whatever reason, for example, because of limited stock, we will provide an alternative Reward of equal or greater value. Any queries or complaints in relation to the fulfilment or performance of Rewards provided by us should be directed to Coinks Support. Where the Reward is to be fulfilled directly by the Reward Provider, you should direct any queries or complaints in relation to fulfilment or performance of Rewards to the relevant Reward Provider. We may contact the relevant Reward Provider, on your behalf, to try to find a solution. In the event that the Reward cannot be provided, for whatever reason, for example, because of limited stock, we will re-credit your Coinks account with the relevant Points so that you can choose an alternative Reward in its place. In this case, we may ask you to provide the relevant Coinks Codes and proofs of purchase to us, so please ensure you cut out and keep these as they may be requested by Coinks Support.
  11. All transactions are electronically monitored through a third-party network. We cannot guarantee that functions contained on the Coinks website will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the Coinks website or the server that makes it available is free of viruses or bugs. Where Rewards are redeemed directly with the Reward Provider, and not by us, you may be directed onto the relevant Reward Provider’s site. Regretfully, we cannot be held responsible for system failures by the Reward Provider or the network.
  12. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, or the spirit of the Programme, by you, we may, at our sole discretion, refuse to process your claim and/or terminate your membership to the Programme. This includes:
    • Attempting to collect or redeem Points in contravention with these terms and conditions;
    • Attempting to have, or having, multiple accounts;
    • Any fraudulent activity with respect to copying coupons, vouchers or purchasing or trading Points;
    • Interfering with the Programme or the Coinks website.
  13. Our decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
  14. You are responsible for any tax implications or payment of tax that may arise through collecting Points and participation in the Programme.
  15. You need to have sufficient Points accrued before redeeming any Reward under the Programme. Points will be subtracted from your account immediately upon your choosing to redeem a Reward.
  16. There may be a delay in crediting Points for Rewards due to the Reward Provider's failure to provide necessary information to us. We cannot be responsible or liable for the delay or failure to credit Points in such event, but we will seek to obtain this necessary information as soon as reasonably possible and credit the relevant Points to your account as soon as we have received it.
  17. The sale or barter of Points is strictly prohibited. Your right to use Points within the Programme is non-transferable. Membership will terminate immediately in the event of a Member's death.
  18. When you request to leave the Programme there will be no further communication between you and us. Your account will be closed within 30 days and any unused Points will be forfeited.
  19. We may from time to time adjust your account upwards or downwards in respect of accounting errors, multiple accounts, refunds issued, Rewards returned or suspected fraud.
  20. We may amend these terms and conditions and/or the Programme at any time to assist with its continued operation. We will give you 30 days notice of any change by posting the modified terms and conditions and/or modified Programme details on this Coinks® website and notifying You either on the Coinks® website home page or via email. In the event of an amendment to these terms and conditions and/or the Programme which you do not agree then you may cancel your use of the Programme by notifying us in writing within 30 days of being notified of the change.
  21. We may terminate the Programme at any time by giving you 30 days notice. Any notice of termination will be posted on this Coinks® website and we will notify you either on the Coinks website homepage or via email. In the event of termination, you will have 90 days from the notice date of Programme termination to redeem any Points in accordance with these terms and conditions. However, no additional Points will be able to be accrued during this termination period.
  22. We may, by giving you reasonable notice: Withdraw, modify or limit Rewards offered by Us and/or by Reward Providers in the Programme and/or the number of Points required to redeem for Rewards; and/or Change Reward Providers under the Programme.
  23. Any queries regarding Coinks® or the Programme must be sent in writing to the Promoter at: Woodland Granaries, Wymeswold Lodge, Narrow Lane, Leicestershire LE12 6SD.
  24. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of England and Wales and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. Our failure to enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions will not constitute a waiver of our right to subsequently enforce such provision or any other provision under these terms and conditions.
